Most investigative firms in this market quote only after a phone call. Our prices are on the site because you should be able to decide whether to call at all. The work is done by a licensed investigator with twelve years in Army military intelligence, and the report you get is built to survive scrutiny rather than to confirm what you were hoping to hear.

Why a licensed agency and not a search site

A report from a consumer search site is a database dump. A background investigation from a licensed agency is a record you can stand behind. We tell you where each fact came from, we tell you what we could not confirm, and the investigator who ran the search can be identified and can speak to how it was done.

Florida law treats an investigative file as a regulated record. Section 493.6121(2) of the Florida Statutes requires a licensed agency to keep the case file for at least two years and produce it to the state regulator on request. Section 493.6119 prohibits the agency from releasing the contents of that file to anyone other than the client or employer, subject to narrow statutory exceptions. A consumer data broker operates under neither obligation.

What we will not do at any price

We do not obtain bank balances or account records, telephone call records, sealed or expunged records, credit reports, or medical records. Those are protected by state and federal law and lawful access runs through a subpoena, a court order, or the subject’s own written authorization. We do not record private conversations, which section 934.03 of the Florida Statutes prohibits without the consent of all parties, and we do not place tracking devices on vehicles a client does not own, which section 934.425 prohibits. A firm that offers those things is telling you how it will handle your case generally.

Where we work

Bradenton and Manatee County, Sarasota, Tampa, St. Petersburg and Clearwater, and statewide in Florida where a case requires it. The agency is based in Bradenton and the investigator on your file is local to this market, which matters more than it sounds: knowing which county clerk holds records on paper and which holds them online is the difference between a two-day report and a two-week one.
